Complaints

If something has gone wrong

We want to know. A complaint is the cheapest information we will ever get about how our service actually works, and nobody will be treated badly for making one.

Who can complain

Any resident or former resident, an applicant, a family member, an advocate, a professional, a neighbour or a contractor. You can complain anonymously, and someone can complain on your behalf.

How

Tell any member of staff, call 07794 350523, or email chrismond.williams@crjliving.co.uk. You do not have to put it in writing and you do not have to use the word complaint.

What happens

We acknowledge within 3 working days and give you a full written response within 28 calendar days. If we need longer we tell you why and give a new date.

If you are not satisfied you can ask for a review by the Director, which is answered within a further 28 days.

If you are still unhappy

You can take your complaint to the Housing Ombudsman Service at housing-ombudsman.org.uk or on 0300 111 3000. Where the complaint concerns a service commissioned by a local authority, you can raise it with them too. Complaints about how we handle personal information can go to the Information Commissioner’s Office on 0303 123 1113.

If you or someone else is in danger, call 999. For a safeguarding concern about an adult in West Sussex, call Adults’ CarePoint on 01243 642121, or 033 022 26664 out of hours.
