Accessibility statement

This website

We have built this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA as far as we are able. That means:

• Text can be resized without breaking the layout
• Colour contrast meets the AA standard
• Everything works with a keyboard, and the focus outline is visible
• Movement is minimal, and stops entirely if your device is set to reduce motion
• Pages work on a phone as well as a computer
• No text is presented as an image, other than our logo

Our service

Accessibility matters more in the service than on the website. We provide:

• Easy Read versions of the resident handbook, the licence agreement and other key documents
• Documents read aloud and explained, with understanding checked rather than assumed
• Longer or repeated appointments where that helps
• Interpreters, including British Sign Language, where needed
• Support from an advocate, family member or support worker at any meeting
• Communication in whatever way suits the person best, recorded on their support plan

We do not charge anyone for an adjustment.
